Research On Inventory Control Strategy Of Spare Parts Based On Warranty Data

Spare parts resource allocation is a very effective tool to improve after-sales service performance.By analyzing the warranty data in the after-sales service system,the reliability information of spare parts can be obtained accurately,such as mean time between failures(MTBF).Based on the response and economy of spare parts,taking into account the factors such as MTBF in warranty data,the spare parts classification,demand forecasting and inventory control model are constructed.In this paper,support vector machine(SVM)is introduced into the classification and prediction management of spare parts,and a case study is carried out to validate and innovate the spare parts management mode.The contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper introduces the research background and significance of spare parts,summarizes the research status of spare parts classification,demand forecasting and inventory control management,and expounds the related theories and methods;Secondly,the spare parts classification model based on warranty data is established.The reliability information MTBF extracted from warranty data is applied to spare parts classification to construct the two stage classification model.In addition,SVM is used to classify spare parts because of their unavoidable correlations;Thirdly,for the spare parts with discontinuous demand,a spare parts demand forecasting model based on warranty data is established.Based on factor analysis,MTBF was used as input to predict LS-SVM.For stationary spare parts,a prediction method based on time series is proposed;Finally,inventory control strategy based on spare parts classification and inventory control model based on demand distribution are established.This paper uses different inventory control strategies to manage spare parts and obtain demand parameters in control strategy using demand forecasting.The calculation of inventory control model under Poisson distribution and normal distribution is introduced in detail.So as to obtain the corresponding order quantity,order point and other parameters under certain service level,taking into account the responsiveness and economy.
