Case Study Of Shell China Companies' Green Low-carbon Development Strategy

Global climate change has become a problem which governments and companies must to face together.As multinational enterprises,especially petrochemical enterprises contribute great to the warming of global,they must bear some responsibility for emissions reductions and to play a great role in the development of low-carbon,otherwise they will be swallowed by the tide of low-carbon.Because of this,to carry out research for these companies is very necessary and timely for them,and are of great significance for national policy formulation and sustainable development.This paper mainly showed Shell Case.By showing Shell ten years' experience in the implementation of green low-carbon development strategies,as well as the timely adjustment of the green low-cost strategy based on international experience in the macroeconomic environment of the development of China's low-carbon economy,aimed at awareness enlightenment domestic government and enterprises' Low-carbon development strategies,so that the government seize the opportunity to cultivate new economic growth points.And the enterprises can seize development opportunities,and have a positive attitude to embrace the arrival of the era of low-carbon economy.We expect this paper may provide full reference ideas in improving energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions and provide clean and efficient products and services,the development of low-carbon energy business,low-carbon energy technology development and cooperation,participation in policy making and so on.
