| With the increase of population, and the development of society and economy, land development is becoming more frequently,as a result, the land available in our country is seriously inadequate.Rural residential land is the carrier of rural production and living.Currently, there exists scores of inefficient land use problems with the rural residential land, such as lack of unified planning and layout, excessive per capita land, hollow village, etc. Thus,in order to alleviate the increasingly contradiction between urban and rural land, doing evaluation research about land intensive use of rural settlements helps to change land use patterns, promote intensive land use and achieve sustainable economic and social development. In order to study land intensive use of rural settlements, using multi-factor comprehensive evaluation method, cluster analysis and AHP method,a comprehensive evaluation system is established based on the theory of land scarcity, the theory of sustainable use, land compensation theory, location theory and urban-rural integration theory.According to the case study of Qinyang,Henan, the thesis analyses the present situation of land use and existing problems, evaluates the level of land intensive use,and puts forward the corresponding suggestions and measures. The results show that the overall level of land intensive use is low in Qinyang rural settlements. The land use in Changping Village,Ziling Town and Shanwangzhuang Town is quite extensive. The land use in Wangqu Village,Wangzhao Village,Baixiang Town,Xixiang Town and Chongyi Town is moderate. The land use in Xiwan Town,Qinyuan Office,Huaiqing Office,Taihang Office and Tanhuai Office is relatively intensive.Eventually, the thesis puts forward several measures, such as improving the town planning system, strengthening land consolidation, enhancing residents’ land conservation awareness and mobilizing their participating enthusiasm, doing cultivated land requisition-compensation balance well, promoting rural land circulation,as well as developing the industry of mountain areas. |
