| As the link of the East and the West, the central region has direct influence on the whole country’s economic developing level in the progress of economy developming of China.Currently, the temp-spatial disparities between different cities in central region are rising, which is restraining the development of the whole region. The coordination and rapid development in all the central cities are crucial to realizing the Rise of Central China besides the bloom of some provincial capital cities. Therefore, the analysis of the causes of temp-spatial economic disparities in central region and the proposals to narrow the disparities is of necessity. The data of population,GDP and GDP per capita from 2000to 2015 in 87 central regional prefectural-leveled cities were analyzed with Standard Deviation(SD),Range Analysis(RA),Cvw coefficient and Concentration Factor(CF)based on the theories of equilibrium, disequilibrium and harmonious development to observe the temporal economic disparities among prefectures in central region, utilizing the software ArcGIS 10.0.At last, the model G(1,1)was utilized for a presage of the next 5 years’ temp-spatial disparities in economic development. The conclusions drawn from this research are as put below:(1)Temporally,the economic disparities among central cities had been getting larger and a few cities had witnessed rapid development.Spatially, the polarization got strengthened with the gaps widening among some of the rapidly developing cities and some of those developed slowly, and the economy were slightly connected together with big cities influencing little on the economic developing of small cities. The data predicted even bigger temp-spatial disparities though the speed of extending was going to be slower.(2)The factors influencing the temp-spatial disparities in the central cities includeDisparities of natural resources and environment, differences of historical development foundation, different central governmental and provincial policies on the development of central cities in different period, the quantitative and qualitative variance of the population in central cities, the international environment and the change of the foreign direct investment(FDI),infrastructure, differences in industrial agglomeration and diffusion.(3)Taking the following measures could help the economic coordination in central cities:optimize the natural geographical conditions with harmony between man and nature, adjust the regional economic developing policies for a more fair circumstance, bringing the cities’ special advantages into play, improving the equality of population comprehensively to support the region’s specialization, opening up to attract reasonable FDI,improving the infrastructure construction to accelerate the development of small towns. |
