Study On The Influence Of Environmental Regulation On Foreign Direct Investment In Shanxi

The impact of environmental regulation on foreign direct investment has always been a hot issue in academic circles at home and abroad.Environmental regulation as an important factor in the choice of investment in the country and the region,a high level of environmental regulation is bound to increase the cost of foreign investment.Foreign direct investment in Shanxi province's economic development has played a very important role,so Shanxi has long attached importance to foreign direct investment.Foreign direct investment scale is constantly expanding,but at the same time the environmental condition in Shanxi province has been deteriorating,the total amount of sulfur dioxide in Shanxi Province in 2015 has reached 1 million 120 thousand and 600 tons.And continue to focus on the control of coal,pollution control,dust and other key areas,pay close attention to the implementation of air pollution prevention and control measures.Then whether the entry of foreign direct investment is damaging to the environment of Shanxi Province,whether the high level of environmental regulation policy has played a role in the inhibition of foreign direct investment.In this paper,the influence mechanism from the micro and macro perspective of foreign direct investment is analyzed,that the high level of environmental regulation will inhibit the inflow of foreign direct,but if the environmental regulation of leading enterprises in technical innovation is to a certain extent on the introduction of foreign direct investment will play a positive impact factors then,the current regulation of foreign direct investment in Shanxi province and analyze the system description,that foreign direct investment has increased the deterioration of environment in Shanxi Province,at the same time,environmental regulation and foreign direct investment between a long-term and stable relationship;the use of foreign direct investment on the environmental pollution and the influence of environmental regulation on foreign direct the study of quantitative investment in Shanxi province 1990-2014 time series data of25 years in the empirical research,the empirical results The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between FDI and environmental pollution,that is,the foreign direct investment increased by 1%,the environmental pollution will increase by0.067%.The entry of foreign direct investment in Shanxi has caused some deterioration in the environment of Shanxi province.At the same time to raise the level ofenvironmental regulation in Shanxi Province,the introduction of foreign capital has significant negative correlation,increase the level of environmental regulation of foreign direct investment will be reduced to a certain extent,increase the level of environmental regulation 1%,foreign direct investment will be reduced by 0.3%.From the results of the analysis we can also see that the impact of environmental regulation factors compared to labor costs,economic development,infrastructure construction,the impact of factors is not very large.In order to realize the sustainable development of economy and environment in Shanxi Province,on the one hand,we still need to increase foreign direct investment at the present stage,on the other hand,we should balance the environment of Shanxi province.Therefore,according to the results of theoretical research and empirical research,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures from the macro and micro level.
