In recent years,electronic commerce in our country has experienced great development.Logistics industry is at the forefront of the society which provides service in back.Picking is a key point of the automatic logistics process which efficiency and precision decides the whole logistics service quality.Multi-shuttle system is a key part of automatic picking system.Comprehensive central control scheduling system and smart mechanical task execution system make it possible to realize the 'parts-to-picker' logistics circulation.According to the information coding principle,intensive warehouse stores goods in the form of three dimensional compression as much as possible.It has formed a whole high-density and organized goods shelf in order to improve warehouse space utilization effectively.The combination between multi-shuttle system and intensive warehouse is the solution for the problem of E-commerce business enterprises' low order picking efficiency whose order is in the form of small and frequent batch as well as various combination.The research is derived from an automatic project of multi-shuttle and intensive warehouse in a W electronic commerce platform.Under the background of a huge number of electronic commerce orders and quick response mechanism of picking operation,this thesis focuses on multi-shuttle intensive warehouse based on'parts-to-picker' pattern.It introduces basic logistics concept,such as SKU,as well as system composition,work flow process and work efficiency indicators.The multi-shuttle intensive warehouse consists of storage transporting mechanical system and management monitoring information system.The thesis mainly studies the following two aspects:inventory case merging problem and shuttle efficiency optimization problem in consideration of inventory cases merging and workload balance strategy.On one hand,the thesis makes full use of practical operation experience and set standard for inventory case merging.It focuses on inventory case whose remaining amount is relatively small and introduces SKU volume factor in consideration of SKU correlation.Thus,we put forward an inventory case merging based on heuristic strategy in consideration of SKU volume so that it is possible to merge two cases into one according to the relative principle.We consider the improvement of cargo storage efficiency indicators and order picking efficiency indicators to measure the effect of case merging.On the other hand,this thesis focuses on the shuttle efficiency optimization problem in consideration of inventory cases merging and workload balance strategy.It is pointed that multi-layer and multi-channel storage pattern makes the outbound efficiency much more efficient.Based on case merging strategy,we set up a problem model which balances the workload among shuttles and put forward a heuristic strategy based on shuttles'workload balance.The heuristic strategy,to some extent,reliefs bottleneck problem among shuttles because of their backlogged outbound tasks and improve order picking efficiency.Two aspects problem above are based on actual picking orders and verified through instances.Finally,the optimization effect of system operation efficiency is reflected in the improvement of cargo storage efficiency indicators and order picking efficiency indicators.
