Cultivated land as one of the important agricultural means of production and strategic resources for human survival and development,assessing its use sustainable situation plays a great important role in safeguarding the dynamic balance of cultivated land resources,coordinating regional man-land relations and realizing the regional sustainable development.This study selected typical mountainous Yunnan province as the research object,with the period from 2009 to 2014,since the second national land survey,as the research time.Inputs and outputs of cultivated land production acts as the breakthrough point,and the cultivated land provides the agricultural products for the production of human consumption and the waste generated by the agricultural products eliminated by the cultivated land acts as foothold.Then,improving ecological footprint model from three aspects: first,creating land account and dividing consumer items and footprint component;secondly,the ecological footprint of cultivated land is divided into two parts,namely the productive footprint of cultivated land,which is evaluated by the traditional ecological footprint model,and the ecological footprint of cultivated,which is evaluated by carbon footprint model;finally,modifying equilibrium factor and yield factor in the traditional ecological footprint model.Based on the improved ecological footprint model,the ecological footprint and ecological carrying capacity of cultivated land in Yunnan Province and each city were calculated,and then the sustainability index of cultivated land sustainable index,cultivated land sustainable supply and demand index and cultivated land sustainable efficiency index were calculated.On the basis of this,a triangular model was established to determine the sustainability of cultivated land use and the evaluation index of cultivated land use sustainability was put into the model,then determining the sustainable use of cultivated land in Yunnan Province and each state,analyze its temporal and spatial changes,and put forward the suggestions for sustainable use of cultivated land.The main conclusions of this paper are as follows:i)From the perspective of the degree of cultivated land use sustainability and its changes in Yunnan province,the sustainable state of cultivated land use in Yunnan province from 2009 to 2014 has experienced four types: strong sustainable(type II),general sustainable(type III),weak sustainable(type IV)and weak unsustainable(V type),showing a “W” type of downward trend on the whole.This is mainly due to the province's per capita cultivated land ecological footprint has continued to rise,with the decline of per capita ecological carrying capacity;sustainable utilization of cultivated land pressure index showed a growth trend,the sustainable land supply index showed a downward trend,cultivated land sustainable efficiency index showed a downward trend but the index value is still high.ii)From the perspective of the degree of cultivated land use sustainability and its change inYunnan's various city,the cultivated land sustainable utilization level in 16 cities of Yunnan province is generally low,mostly manifested as the general sustainable(type III),weak sustainability(type IV),weak sustainable(type V)degree of sustainability and low level,and presents 5 types of change: the first type presents a stable type,including Dehong,Kunming,Nujiang,Honghe,Qujing,Wenshan,Lincang and Dali,;the second one is “L” type,including Yuxi,Xishuangbanna and Baoshan;the third one is reverse “L” type,including Chuxiong,Zhaotong and Lijiang;the forth one is “N” type,including Pu'er;the last one is “V” type,including Diqing.iii)From the perspective of the spatial pattern of the degree of cultivated land use sustainability and its change in Yunnan Province,from 2009 to 2014,the spatial diversity of cultivated land use sustainability in Yunnan Province was large,and the degree of cultivated land use sustainability was gradually increased from northeastern Yunnan,central Yunnan to the surrounding area.The concrete manifestation is: southwest Yunnan> western Yunnan> southeastern Yunnan> northwest Yunnan> northeastern Yunnan> central Yunnan.iv)Sustainable development of cultivated land in Yunnan Province should be based on policy level,management level and technical level.
