Research On Competitiveness Of Equipment Manufacturing Industry In Liaoning Province

As the pillar industry of our national economy development,the equipment manufacturing industry has contributed a lot to the national economy.With strong technicality,high capital investment,high value-added rate and other characteristics,it has been a sign indicating the country's industrial development and modernization drive.The equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province starts relatively early.The "11th Five-Year Plan" is put forward to indicate the developing direction of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province,i.e.promoting the revitalization of the basic equipment manufacturing industry,major complete equipment manufacturing industry and other fields in Liaoning Province.But in recent years,the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province is lagging behind Jiangsu,Guangdong,Shandong and other provinces and cities.In the background of global integration and modernization,improving the competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province is an issue that needs to be addressed urgently.This paper starts from the development situation of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province to analyze the factors that influence the competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry from four aspects: factor condition,industrial structure,demand condition and policy.It clarifies the problems existing in equipment manufacturing industry and carries out cause analysis.Six representative provinces and cities,Shanghai,Beijing,Jiangsu,Shandong,Guangdong and Heilongjiang,are chosen to company Liaoning to model the three aspects of capital competition,industry profit and market performance.The factor analysis is adopted to rank the evaluation indexes comprehensively so as to find out the advantages and disadvantages of Liaoning Province compared to other provinces and cities in the equipment manufacturing industry.Finally,based on the identified problems,the paper comes up with feasible policy suggestions from perspectives of improving the technical level,realizing the industrial cluster,and the reforming the stock right system,so as to improve the competitiveness of the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province.Hoping that this study contributes to the development of equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning Province.
