Business opportunities are fleeting,the importance of time for the enterprise is self-evident.Only by making more output in unit time can enterprises be competitive in the market.But the output of the enterprise depends on the efficiency of the staff,and the efficiency of the staff depends on the utilization of time.There is a deviation between different employees on the perception and use of the time— time difference in person-ality.It is necessary to conduct research on how the differences in the personality of the time between the team members influence the team performance.The differences in time cognition and use of the team members can influence the process that the team members explore the relevant tasks,communicate and feed the results back to the team for further discussion — information processing.The information processing process provides a platform for team members to communicate,share and integrate knowledge and have a direct impact on team performance.The difference of values among team members will promote and suppress the influence of time heterogeneity on team process and result to a certain extent.Therefore,this paper chooses team time personality heterogeneity as the research object,from the perspective of the information/decision making and social categorization,to explore its impact on team performance.On the basis of reading a lot of research literature related to time personality hetero-geneity,information elaboration,heterogeneity of values and team performance,this paper puts forward the corresponding research hypothesis and constructs the theoretical model.A total of 257 questionnaires were obtained based on the 52 independent team samples,and then the reliability and validity of the scale were analyzed by SPSS soft-ware.The hypothesis was verified by the correlation analysis and regression analysis and we made conclusions as follows :(1)the dimension of the time personality hetero-geneity —(temporal emotional characteristic diversity)has negative influence on team performance,and temporal cognitive characteristic diversity has a positive effect on team performance;(2)the depth of information processing will promote the improve-ment of team performance;(3)the information processing part mediates the negative effect of the difference of time emotion on the performance of the team,and completely mediates the positive effect of the difference of time cognition on team performance.(4)the relative value of the difference between the team,the smaller the difference in values,the more the difference between the time cognitive characteristics of the team topromote the depth of information processing.The theoretical significance of this study is to enrich the relevant research of the time personality heterogeneity,and the exploration of the depth of information also responds to the scholar's appeal.The conclusion through the synthesis of two perspec-tives provides some references in the usual management of the work team,job assign-ment and team performance improvement.
