Study On Land Use Of Xiezhou In Shanxi Province At The Late Qing Dynasty

This paper consists of five chapters.The chapter 1 is the introduction,chapter2,3 and 4 are the main parts of the article and chapter 5 is the conclusion.According to construction of the thesis,introducing the the academic value of historical materials used in this paper,then build a database using historical data to discuss the distribution pattern of land in Xie zhou.Finally,I will refer to analysis results of the third part to research the Xie zhou's land planting structure combine with local chronicles and other historical materials.The chapter 1 is introduction,introduced the topic origin and the significance of the topic.Because of the particularity of Shanxi Province's location,researching the LUCC of the Shanxi Province is meaningful.At the same time,the situation in the LUCC,the lack of the academic achievements of county scale,therefore the topic has certain academic value and significance in county respect.Academic history has three parts,including historical LUCC,historical economy geography and historical documents digital.The chapter 2 introduced the basis source-Xie Zhou Zhang Qing Di Liang Li Jia Tu Shuo.I will introduce the source from backgrounds,editions,details and influences.The important content is the details.Then I analysis the acdemic value from institutional history perspective,economic history perspective and historical geography perspectiveThe chapter 3 is the key part of paper.Firstly,introducing the environment and administrative region of Xie Zhou.Secondly,collecting and counting the data come into being a EXCEL form,this is the landing database of Xie Zhou.Finally,combining two maps,drawing the basis map of the paper.Then,using the ArcGIS analysis the landing patterns of Xie Zhou.Choosing sinicum as an example to dig deeply,which included reason,process and effect.The chapter 4 introduced the farm land using of Xie Zhou in Qing dynasty.Food crops mainly including wheat,millet,sorghum,millet,beans,corn and so on,especially the distribution of wheat is very extensive.The output of wheat is growing constantly from Qing dynasty to the Republic of China-Economic crops including cotton,mulberry and so on,because of the high quality of cotton,weaken the silk industry.For example,the"Yellow Silk" was gone.The chapter 5 is the conclusion of the paper.I think it is good for using GIS based on the new material.Especially,using the point density map to show the LUCC of Xie Zhou.And analysis the driving forces of the alkaline on environment and cultural factors,it is the key factor of land using.
