Research On The Status And Countermeasures Of Family Farm Development In Dongyuan County

With the development of science and technology as well as the agricultural productivity nearly three decades,the traditional family-based management pattern can't meet the demand of agricultural modernization.In November 2012,the eighteenth congress of the Communist Party of China put forward that we should devote major efforts to developing new types of agricultural management.In 2013,No 1 Central Document has proposed to transfer the contracted land to professional investors,family farms and farmers' cooperatives.It was the first time that the concept of family farms was arised in the No 1 document.After that in next four consecutive years,No 1 Central Documents has come up with vigorously promoting and supporting the development of the family farm.This study chooses Dongyuan county as the research object and uses research methods such as literature retrieval,survey method and comparison analysis.By referring to the reference and collecting data,the author analyzes present situation and restricting factors of family farm in Dongyuan county.On the basis of the advanced experience at home and abroad,the writer puts forward the targeted measures in order to provide theoretical and practical reference to Dongyuan family farms and boost the increase of agricultural efficiency and farmers' income.The data shows that the family farms has grown rapidly to 117 since 2015,formed scale operation,and promoted the development of the local rural economy and agricultural modernization,becoming one of the effective ways to promote the farmers' income.It the same time,family farm in the county is a new thing,being in the embryonic period.The farms are not managed so well and are restricted by problems such as the lack of government support,the low efficiency of land circulation,the poor quality of the farmers,financing problems and the imperfect system of agricultural socialization service.Then,learning from the advanced experience of other parts in and out of our country,including Japan,France,America and Shanghai Songjiang,Zhejiang Ningbo,Anhui Langxi,the writer comes up with some corresponding suggestions,including fully strengthening governmental support,improving the way of land circulation,fostering new professional farmers,satisfying the financing needs,and improving the system of agricultural socialization service and so on,hoping that these suggestions can have some benefits in stimulating the healthy development and improving the management level of the family farm in Dongyuan.
