Research On Import Sophistication Of China's Producer Service Trade And Upgrading Of Industrial Structure

Under the background of economic globalization in the word,trade is the effective method of adjusting industrial structure and promoting industrial upgrading.The focal point of countries' comprehensive strength is transforming to service trade from the traditional goods trade gradually.Importing producer service can ease the constraints of resources and environment,improve the production efficiency,increase the speed of economic growth and rationalize the industrial structure.When we pay attention to improving the "quantity" of trade,we also need to focus on the "quality" of the trade.Firstly,this paper based on the import trade of producer services in our country,does the theoretical analysis on import sophistication of China's producer service trade and upgrading of industrial structure.Secondly,through calculating quantitatively import sophistication of China's producer service trade and industrial structure,combined with the domestic situation,this paper comments the level of Chinese import sophistication and industrial structure.Thirdly,this paper analyses time series data and establish Vector Auto-regression Mode(VAR)in the national level,then it concludes that import sophistication of China's producer service trade is Granger Causality of industrial structure,the former changes bigger to the latter in the short term and the becomes stabilization in long term;the former can explain the latter's variance more as the time increases.At the same time,this paper establish the panel data mode in the province level,do FMOLS test from total sample and division,and the result shows that import sophistication of China's producer service trade can promote the upgrading of industrial structure significantly,as the import sophistication bigger,the impact bigger.At last,the paper suggests that efforts should be made to improve the import sophistication of producer services trade in order to contribute to the upgrading of the industrial structure of our country.
