Research On Optimization Of Inventory Management Of Airline A Based On Supply Chain

With the development of the domestic civil aviation, the competition among airlines have become increasingly fierce. As a capital-intensive and tech-intensive industry, the industry average profit is only 3% to 6%.With the expansion of the fleet size,captain pressure is increasingly prominent. As one of the essential condition of the normal operation of the airline, the cost of airlines mainly involve inventory management, but most of the inventory was never been used. Excesss reserves and backwards management are the main reasons for the high cost. Therefor, enhancing the level of aircraft material management is very imminent for improvement of the economic benefits.This article analyzed the aircraft material management in A Airlines with field research, draws lessons from the advanced mode of inventory management,and researches on supply chain management,inventory control,and cost saving of inventory management in A Airlines. This article also put forward the basic idea of reserve base by analysising the fleet size of distribution and A route network layout. It will optimize the allocation of resources and enhance the supply of aircraft materials. The inventory control mode can effectively reduce cost.
