The research of land use/land cover change have a great significance of regional environmental quality monitoring, and terrestrial ecosystem service value assessment. In recent years, with the vigorous development of the geography and the deepening of the discipline overlapping, human on land use/land cover change research also gradually tend to be diversified, in-depth and typifcally. This paper on the basis of the remote sensing data of shaanxi province in 2000?2005and2010,with the support of ARCGIS technology, using some correlation mathematical statistics methods to analysis land use/cover change in shaanxi province, and the condition of ecosystem degradation with multi-angle and multi-level, such as turn class index, landscape index, ecological degradation index and ect. Finally, draw the following conclusions:Ecosystem constitute have a significant difference in Shaanxi province, northern Shaanxi region is given priority to with the grass, the Guanzhong region is given priority to with farmland, southern Shaanxi is given priority to with the forest.2000-2010, great changes have taken place across Shaanxi province ecological system type, Mainly for them are farmland into grassland, towns and thickets ecosystem. In addition, forests, thickets, meadows, and urban ecosystem is given priority to with into, farmland ecosystem is given priority to with roll out, the ecological system of reciprocal transformation has obvious one-way. Ten years, Shaanxi province ecosystem landscape fragmentation were reduced and landscape pattern trend is complete, the overall landscape form gradually tends to complicated and diversified. Shaanxi province regional landscape complexity from numerous to Jane, in turn, is the northern Shaanxi area, southern Shaanxi, the Guanzhong area, and Xi'an average patch area in the three years are the biggest, far higher than the average level; Landscape integrity from strong to weak was followed by the Guanzhong area, southern Shaanxi, northern Shaanxi region.2000?2010, for all kinds of ecosystem in Shaanxi province have different degradation degree,forest degradation mainly in Qinba mountains of the south Shaanxi and give priority to with severe and very severe degradation situation, In 2010 than in 2000, extreme degradation ratio increased, and decreased in proportion of the other levels. Grassland degradation occurs mainly in the loess plateau in northern Shaanxi province, from 2000 to 2000, ten years with a total area of grassland degradation of a slight decrease, and the northern shaanxi cities very severely degraded area have significantly decreasing trend, while the other levels of degradation increases; Compared with forest and grassland degradation degree in Shaanxi province, the wetland ecological system has been in a relatively stable state in ten years.
