Study On The Pricing Policies For Fresh Food Considering The Recycle Mechanism

Nowadays supply chain management with fresh food has been attracting worldwide academic attentions.The existing fresh food related researches demonstrates the important of this issue.Extra emphasis still focuses on the pricing policies.However,the research on the pricing policies for fresh food supply chain considering recycle mechanism is limited.In the real world,the up-streams in supply chain recycle the fresh food and reproduce to resale when the demand is over.The recycling projects on the one hand improve the utilization rate of fresh food.On the other hand,the behavior makes a positive contribution to the environment and conforms to the point of the sustainable development.Moreover,some fresh food is alternative because of a wide variety of fresh food.And the demand is not only influenced by its own price,also affected by the price of substitute products.So it has practical significance to research the alternative fresh food pricing policies based on the single fresh food.At the same time,few researches involve theoretical analysis for coordination between distributed supply chain companies with fresh foods.Based on above thoughts,this article focuses on the supply chain management of fresh food,the game theory and the theory of supply chain coordination,deeply analyzes pricing policies of the single fresh food and alternative fresh food,and coordinate the supply chain considering recycle mechanism.This thesis consists of five chapters.The content of each chapter is summarized as follows:Chapter 1 analyzes the real situation of the fresh foods supply chain,illuminates the research objectives through reading the literature about the pricing policies of fresh foods and supply chain with recycle mechanism.Chapter 2 reviews the basic knowledge of related theory.Chapter 3 sets up a supply chain pricing model of single fresh food considering recycle mechanism.The paper assumes that the demand is related with its own price.At the same time,the reducing value by time also affects the demand.This chapter includes:adapts game theory to analyze a typical two-echelon distributed supply chain pricing policies with one manufacture,one retailer of a single fresh food in centralized decision-making,applies the optimization theory and game theory to solve the optimal prices and profits,compares the pricing policies in different decision-making,coordinates supply chain based on revenue sharing contract,and also analyzes the impact of sales cycle and revenue share proportion on the pricing policies.Chapter 4,based on the single fresh food pricing policies,further researches the situation that the demand also is related with the price of alternative fresh food and the alternative proportion,solves and compares the optimal pricing policies in the two decision-making,designs the supply chain revenue sharing contract coordination mechanism,analyzes the impact of sales cycle,alternative proportion and revenue share proportion on the pricing policies.The last chapter summarizes all the work of this thesis and gives some useful suggestions for future researches.The conclusion is shown:(1)the pricing policies under centralized decision-making of single and alternative fresh food is superior to decentralized decision-making,and the supply chain system achieves the coordination and optimization through the revenue sharing contract.(2)whether it is single or alternative fresh food,the optimal retail price and total profits increase as the sales cycle decreases in the two decision-making;in decentralized decision-making,the buy back price and the profit of retailer increase as the sales cycle decreases,the profit of supplier increases as the sales cycle increases.(3)for the alternative fresh food,the optimal retail price and total profits increase as the alternative proportion increases in the two decision-making;in decentralized decision-making,the buy back price and the profit of retailer increase as the alternative proportion increases,the profit of supplier increases as the alternative proportion decreases.In brief,this research focuses on the fresh food supply chain system,strives to get the optimal pricing policies of single fresh food and alternative fresh food considering recycle mechanism,and researches coordination mechanism of supply chain upstream and downstream enterprises in the aforementioned conditions.It enables succinct and implementable,approaches to solve the problem and enriches corresponding theoretical foundation,provides a reference guide for business decisions.
