With the development of society and the progress of the technology,the competition in manufacturing industry is increasingly fierce.In face of the economic globalization market,personalized distinct user needs and endlessly competitors emerge;the manufacturing enterprises are taking more and more severe challenges.To effectively face these challenges,the manufacturing enterprises must adjust the present mode of production,bring in advanced science and technology,and improve management strategies to improve their comprehensive competitiveness and ensure a long term development.Modern manufacturing enterprises widespread irrational production process,nonprofessional facilities layout,inappropriate management methods and so on give result in the enterprise logistics circulation is not smooth,production cycle is long,work in process inventory is more and finances are tight.All these cause serious damage to manpower,material and financial resources.Therefore,reasonable production logistics system design and facility layout design have the very vital significance to improve the enterprise's logistics efficiency and lower production cost.In this paper,based on the knowledge of facility planning design theory,take Tianjin SYX Radiator Company as the research object,do the design on the company's overall layout and production equipment layout by using the SLP method,then adopt different evaluation method to evaluate and choose the best design scheme from the alternatives,to formulate rational and effective solution for SYX Radiator Company;Using the Witness simulation software to validate the selected scheme,to combine theoretical knowledge with practical problems.The research for manufacturing enterprise facility layout has certain reference significance.The main content of chapter 1:Firstly it analyzed the research background and significance;through reading a large number of literatures,summarizes the research status of facility and planning,and do detail review;lastly it put forward the research content,research method and research framework.The second chapter firstly does the research on the connotation,basic contents and methods of enterprises' facility layout design,put forward the principles hich facility layout design should follow;Mainly elaborated the content,basic elements and implementation procedures of SLP which is a method of facility layout design,then propose the data every step needs;meanwhile,point out the shortcoming of SLP,do supplement and perfect;In the third part,introduce the Tianjin SYX Radiator company's background,its products and features;Combines the company's current situation,analyze the marketing demand,put forwards the condition and design requirements.Chapter four:adopting SLP to analyze the case of Tianjin SYX Radiator Company.Firstly,it collects the original data of SYX Radiator Company,sorting out,puts forward the five basic elements of SLP;and according to the production logistics present situation and the actual demand of the enterprise,divides operation units;then analyze the logistics and non-logistics relationship between operation units,it draws operation units position correlation figure and area correlation figure;Lastly,it proposes the overall facility layout primary scheme design and production equipment layout primary scheme design,through the analysis and evaluation to determine the final layout design scheme.Lastly five chapter,it introduces software witness,does production status simulation,finds out problems and seeks solutions;meanwhile,it verifies whether the layout design scheme is reasonable or not,does further correction optimization,and concludes the final layout.
