In recent years, with the rapid development of mobile electronic information technology, the wearable device,as a new industry,is derived.Especially in the rise of mobile health, wearable medical devices for the elderly in china has become an important development area in the wearable device market. However, with the development of wearable medical devices market, there are many problems such as the single product function, low customer purchase rate, and the weak social effect. Also, wearable medical devices product design is high diverse and does low specific. Then, how to help china wearable medical equipment enterprises to improve market. How to know the real needs of customers in wearable medical devices market. How to design wearable medical devices to meet the needs of consumers. What are the reasons of the low customer purchase rate.As we all know, the unique characteristics of the elderly group, the characteristics of wearable medical devices and the impact of interpersonal relationships in the elderly life are closely related to the adoption of wearable medical devices. Therefore, this paper aims to explore some underlying rules and mechanisms for the adoption of wearable medical device behavior according to the inherent characteristics and development direction of the development of wearable medical equipment in china. In this paper, integrating the summary of the domestic and foreign literature, text mining, user behavior theory and other related theories, the influencing factors model affecting the adoption of wearable medical devices in the elderly was established and verified by the empirical data. The research results were summarized as follows.First, the adoption attitude of wearable medical devices for the elderly is affected by the perceived benefits and perceived risks of the product. In this paper, including the realization of the function of the product,as well as the convenience of the elderly, perceived benefits, and perceived risk such as capital risks, performance risks. The empirical results show that the perceived benefits and perceived risks of wearable medical devices will affect the adoption attitudes of wearable medicaldevices, which will further affect the final adoption behavior. In contrast,in promoting the adoption of wearable medical devices, the impact of perceived benefits is greater than the perceived risk of perceived risk, which implies that the elderly are also willing to accept the emerging technologies.Second, the social environment of the elderly, especially the influence of the people around them, play a vital role on the adoption of wearable medical devices in the elderly. This article refers to social norms such as the old people's children, friends and other relations, will affect the attitude of the elderly. The empirical results show that the social norms of the elderly have a key impact on the adoption of wearable medical devices. That is to say, attitude on wearable medical devices of the people around the elderly, has a critical impact on the final adoption of the elderly. In addition to the social norms of the elderly and product features of wearable medical devices, the basic characteristics of the elderly is an important factor that have an influence on the elderly adoption of wearable medical devices. This paper mainly refers to the physical condition, resistance to change and technical fear of the elderly, will prevent the adoption of wearable medical devices in the elderly. The empirical results show that the characteristic factors of the elderly have a direct effect on the adoption, especially resistance to change, the elderly usually choose their own past treatment of physical problems,do not tend to use new technology.
