Research On Constructing And Operating The Service Platform Of Smart Wearable Devices From The Perspective Of Industry Value Chain

The era of smart wearable devices is coming with the emerging and booming of smart wearable deviceson a global scale.Internet companiesand hardware equipment manufacturers at home and abroad arecompeting for the market,continuously introducing smart wearable devices into industry,fitness and sports,entertainment,medical and health industry and many other fields.With the emerging of more and more smart wearable devices,the prospect of this fields are highly expected.However,the industry of smart wearable devices is at the initial stage and its macro environment and consumers' habits are being gradually formed,especially structure and defects of the industry value chain are restricting its development.Thus,both analysis on the development trend and reconstruction of the industry value chain of smart wearable devices and research on constructing and operating the service platform of smart wearable devices are with practical significance for the smart wearable devices enterprises to integrate resources,build competitive advantage and win the market.The purpose of this thesis is to solve the resources integration problems in the reconstruction and upgrading of value chain industryof smart wearable devices so as to promote the benign development of the industry through constructing and operating the service platform of smart wearable devices.Based on the literature review of platform theory,industry value chain theory,industry consolidation theory and the smart wearable devices related literature at home and abroad,this thesis defines the concepts of smart wearable devices,smart wearable devices industry value chain and smart wearable devices service platform,analyzes current structure,development trend and reconstruction of the smart wearable devices industry value chain,and puts forward the key attributes of the service platform.Additionally,based on diamond model,the driving factors for the construction of smart wearable devices service platform are analyzed.Moreover,this thesis sets up a theoretical model of smart wearable devices service platform based on platform theory and industry consolidation theory,expandsthe basic pricing model of platform in bilateral market combined with the status quo of smart wearable devices industry,develops the pricing mode and model of the service platform,analyzes the operating strategy of each stage of the service platform,which adds the related content to the theory of platform,enriches the application fields of industry value chain theory and provides reference for enterprises to integrate resources and build competitive advantage.The innovative points in this thesis can be summarizes in threefold: first,on the basis of the analysis of defects of smart wearable devices industry value chain,reconstruction of smart wearable devices industry value chain is conducted;second,based on the reconstruction,smart wearable devices service platform theoretical model is set up;third,to expand the basic pricing model of platform in bilateral market,adding the influence of advertisers,the pricing mode and model of the service platform are developed.
