Research On The Impact Of Urbanization On Economic Growth In China

Urbanization is a kind of spatial agglomeration phenomenon accompanying with the development of human society and economy,and it is also the inevitable outcome of the development of human society.The development of urbanization will promote economic growth.Capital accumulation,scale economy,agglomeration economy,learning effect and the division of labor is the source of urban economic growth,and the town is learning effect,capital accumulation and division of labor the optimal efficiency of the region.Therefore,the town has become a economic growth an important spatial agglomeration carrier,urbanization has become to an important engine of economic growth.Urbanization is the most lasting and powerful endogenous driving force of economic growth.Urbanization is not only the key to expand domestic demand,stimulate economic growth and crack two yuan economic structure,but also to save land,environmental protection and low carbon development path has important significance.Along with the deepening of reform and opening to the outside world,some economically developed regions by virtue of the owned resources,transportation and policy advantages,and actively promote the process of urbanization,after years of development,has been the first to enter the era of post industrialization,the expansion of urban scale has been close to the neck of the bottle.And the economy is relatively backward in the future will become the main force of the further development of urbanization,the increase of the number of towns and population,the expansion of the size of the cities and towns will bring new vitality to the economic and social development of these regions.Therefore,the sub regional study of China's urbanization development will comprehensively improve the "quality" and "quantity" of China's urbanization is particularly important.This paper first reviews the relevant literature on the urbanization and economic growth and in analysis on the basis of China's urbanization and economic growth situation of using 2000 to 2014 China's 31 provinces,municipalities and autonomous district urban and economic growth of related data,panel data model is established based on the extended production function,in-depth study of the on economic growth effect of quantitative relationship between liberalization of my country,provinces,cities and towns the.In this paper,the our country as a whole as the sample of town of econometric analysis of the impact on economic growth,then in 2014 the level of per capita GDP will be divided the economically developed regions,economy of middle developed areas and economic less developed areas in three sub samples,respectively,of the regional urbanization on the impact of economic growth.Through the empirical analysis concludes that both the full sample or in accordance with the degree of economic development division three sub samples,the urban population on economic growth regression coefficients were in the 1%confidence level is significantly positive conclusion,indicating that population urbanization level changes on China's regional economic growth has a significant role in promoting.On the other hand,through the study of the different levels of economic development of the region,the level of urbanization and regional economic growth analysis,it is found that,due to the difference of regional economic development level,geographical location,the quantitative relationship between different regions of the urbanization and economic growth also exist obvious difference.According to the regression coefficient is as follows:the less developed area regression coefficient 3.47,derived under the full sample regression coefficient is higher than 2.97,higher than the economically developed provinces in the case is that the regression coefficients of 2.85,higher than that of the medium developed area of economy of 2.12.Show that in economically less developed area urbanization rate most significant contribution to economic growth,higher than the national average,followed by economic developed provinces,cities and towns in the contribution to economic growth,and economic medium developed area urbanization on the contribution of economic growth.In order to make China's economy will continue to maintain rapid growth,urbanization can get further development,China's urbanization and economic growth both can well play a role in promoting mutual,we need to take appropriate measures according to local conditions.
