Application Of Lean Six Sigma In Pharmaceutical Company X

At present,with the development of China's pharmaceutical industry,the competition is intensifying.Many domestic companies began to study and implement Lean Six Sigma to improve product quality and reduce operating costs.Lean Six Sigma is the integration of Lean Management and Six Sigma.It focuses on the improvement of process efficiency.Lean Six Sigma eliminates the waste of production,reduces the volatility of the production process,and improves production efficiency through the relevant tools and methods.This thesis explores the relevant theory of Lean Six Sigma,discusses the preparation and implementation steps in detail.Then it analyzes the differences of Lean Production and Six Sigma.Guided by above theory,the thesis addresses a Lean Six Sigma implementation and promotion project of pharmaceutical company X.First,it chooses the production process of medicine A as the improvement project.The project team collects the relevant data and draws tables.Then it analyzes the cause of high repair rate and low productivity,and finds out how to solve the problems by using the Lean Six Sigma tools,such as control chart,brainstorming,one-piece flow,Minitab statistical analysis software,the production line balance.Based on above research,improvement actions are proposed.With the evaluation of improvement effect,it can be concluded that the Lean Six Sigma can improve the process capability.And the experience can be used for reference for the other companies or other industry.
