Food safety is closely linked with our health and life.It is related to the health development of economy and trade.It plays an important role in the social harmony and national image.It has become a significant livelihood of the people and the social security problems.However,there occurred successive malignant food safety incidents in our country,which make people are very concerned about the food safety and even lose confidence.At the moment,our economy development is in the primary stage and the longtime and stable development of economy is still the first consideration of local government.Letting the market compete freely can not ensure the healthy development of the food industry.Under this situation,how to supervise the food safety well with the limited financial and human resources and how to prevent the malignant food safety incidents happening are the urgent solved problems our government will face.Weihai is a famous coastal city in Shandong province with its superior location,good climate,beautiful environment and kind-hearted people.The slogan"east or west,Weihai si the best" is widely circulated.Weihai economy is relatively active.Both its food processing and circulation and its food and beverage market are very developed.It has a instructional and representative meaning for food supervision in our country.This thesis select the food safety problem as an object and start with the current situation of food safety.It extracts the food safety supervision problems by researching,statistical analysis and comparative analysis.At the same time,I also analyze the cause of the problems and learn from Singapore,Hongkong and some other developed area.This article presents some proposals for improving the food safety supervision of Weihai in regulatory functions institution and the social governance.It provide some references for food safety supervision in Weihai.To improve food safety supervision,we should establish a reasonable pattern of food safety supervision;secondly to improve grassroots regulatory capacity,accelerate the construction of informatization supervision;to improve the legal system of food safety supervision,strengthen food safety violations punishment;finally,deepen the food safety supervision mechanism of social governance.Through the above ways to solve the problem of food safety supervision in Weihai.
