During the Information Age and the Internet Age,to satisfy the customer's r equirements become the core competiveness of a successful enterprise which surv ives a company in such a fierce competition age.Only the company which coul d continuously meet all the customer's requirements,their product could become the customer's priority choice.With the quality management theory development,more and more people real ize that continuously improve the quality could win more customers.Design of Experiment(DOE)is a very important quality method to find the key quality iss ue and improve the key quality for most companies as it could minimize the co st of both time and money.The contents of this article include:Analysis the D company internal quality KPIs and process CPK and external quality KPIs at first,and found that the key quality issue was customer complaint of external KPIs;then change the external KPIs which is very difficult to supervise to internal daily quality control KPIs which is much easier to supervise with Correlationship Analysis,and set the rela ted interal quality KPIs as the DOE Response Variable;then select the Independ ent Variable and experimental level with Brian Storms and Fishbone Analysis an d FMEA,and design suitable DOE plans;then make trials and record the results of the DOE plans and analysis the results to optimize the Equation.Finally,bas ed on this study,we took failure experience and proposed the key direction of f urther research.The theoretical and practical significants of this study including:It is the first time for D company to use DOE method to analysis and solve quality problems.During this study,D company understand the method of DOE and the software of Six Sigma Quality Management of Minitab could be very useful for quality improvement.Although we didn't find all the key factors and the best parameter setting by this study,we had new experience of DOE method and we knew the right direction to fix the problem,we got a lot of raw data,and we built a foundation of quality improment.Besides,during this research,a lof of managers and engineers of D company understood and accpeted the method of DOE and the Six Sigma Quality Management software of Minitab,with the more and more experience and new experiments,D company will solve the first priority quality issue and achieve both high managers and customes expectation finally.Besides,The ideas that how to choose key dependent factors from so many factors via FMEA and other quality tools could be a very good example for our numerous quality workers.
