Quality will be dominant at the twenty-first century. At the end of last century, there was a helpless status occurring that traditional quality management had no way to promote higher the operational level. Fortunately, a large number of western enterprises were rescued from this operational jam by adopting the spreading Six Sigma management method and consequently became the top ones in the world. Facing with the more and more fierce international competitive markets, whether the executive operators of our nation can give proper appreciation to the Six Sigma management and its application principle has become the crucial part of further popularizing this management method and strengthening the market competitiveness.This dissertation takes it as its research objective that how to upgrade the product's quality grade by Six Sigma. It fully demonstrates how to use this management method and idea to eliminate activities of non-added value, lower the product's limitation and cost, shorten the cycle life, increase the market possession rate, clarify their goal and method and ultimately form the operational strategy of competitive advantages for an enterprise.First of all, this dissertation analyzes the deficiencies of traditional quality management and the embarrassment our company are meeting in the spread of Six Sigma application. It also illustrates the necessity of applying the Six Sigma.Secondly, by adopting the statistic method and non-measurement classification, this paper attempts to make our executive operator better understand what the basic method and instrument of Six Sigma is.Thirdly, the author puts forward new quality grade division method for the first time, presents new quality improvement approaches, then introduces the cost and profit optimized model. All these aim to make the operator more convenient when setting the product quality grade, searching the goal of management implementation, trying to fulfill the core competitiveness as well as attaining the consistence of customers' satisfaction and company's profit increment.Finally, the author focuses on researching the "Six Sigma management" case of the Flextronics Mfg.(Shanghai) Co., Ltd. during printing circuit board assembly. The company succeeds to enhance customer's satisfaction and advances the product's competition ability by using "Six Sigma management" to decrease the waste, improve the quality and save the cost. Through analyzing such a practical case, this dissertation introduces how to use the basic instrument of Six Sigma, confirms the Tightness of the model and proves the rationality of the qualify grade division method to be true.
