The Evolution Mechanism Of Urbanization Mass Incidents In The Western Minority Areas And The Countermeasures To Solve Them

In recent years,with the rapid development of urbanization in China,the number of town is increasing,the scale is expanding,the quality is steadily improving,the agglomeration effect of industry and population appears,and the economic strength has been greatly improved.However,with the economic developing,the inequality of income distribution,imperfect social security mechanism,environmental pollution and other issues are highlighted at the same time,thus resulting in a large number of mass incidents which have aroused great concerns at home and abroad.Especially in the Western Ethnic Areas which traditional agriculture is the leading industry to promote the economic development for a long time,the geographical location is very special and the dependence on the environment is so strong,but the harsh natural environment and the long farming period highlights the vulnerability of traditional agriculture lead to the slow pace of economic development and the much lower per capita income than the area of the middle and east.Meanwhile the ethnic minorities are widely distributed,many factors such as race,religion and so on have a great influence on public so that the large-scale mass incidents will be more likely to erupt,which may not only hinder the balanced development of the region,but also cause great harm to social stability of our country.Under the background of urbanization,how to prevent and resolve the mass incidents in Western Ethnic Areas effectively,establish and improve the corresponding early warning and treatment mechanism has become an urgent task for the harmonious development of society.This study was based on sociology,operational research and other related theories,using the literature research,case analysis,combination theory and practice and other research methods to conduct research.Firstly this paper has deeply analyzed the typical group events of urbanization in Western Ethnic Areas in recent years,divided the evolution process into four stages: embryo,intensified,full outbreak and subside,extracted five important factors in the evolution of events:urbanizationbackground,induced events,subjective judgments,group psychology,group characteristics.Secondly this paper has put forward the hypothesis of complex causality between variables and established the dynamic evolution model of group events according to the relevant theory,combined with “Jinning Conflict” to design and distribute questionnaires,and then used the SPSS18.0 and AMOS22.0 software to analyze the effective questionnaires which showed that the reliability and validity of the scale were high,applied the structural equation model to test the model and hypothesis which showed the fitting parameters of the model were all up to the standard and the assumptions among variables are correct.Based on the above research,it has summarized the evolution mechanism of urbanization group events in the Western Minority Areas.Finally,it has put forward the suggestions and methods such as “reduce the burning material”,reduce the “combustion substance” and“perfect fire protection mechanism” to how to solve the mass incidents and establish a long-term mechanism of reducing urbanization group events in the Western Minority Areas based on the social combustion theory and combined with the results of empirical analysis.
