Research On The Impact Of Offshore Serviee Outsourcing On Employment In China

Since 1990s,with the weakening of trade-barriers and the huge and fast development of computer technology,transaction costs are declining,and international service outsourcing is becoming feasible for more manufacturers.Outsourcing can produce many economic effects,one of which is to increase employment quality and improve the frame of employment.China is now facing a severe employment situation,we should pay great attention to the impact of offshore service outsourcing on employment,seize this opportunity,solve the employment problem in China,and adjust the employment structure.In order to speed up the development of service outsourcing,Chinese government has set up 21 service outsourcing demonstration city agglomeration to attracted more packages,,advanced infrastructure and high-end talent,formed a good institutional environment,and expand the service outsourcing enterprise scale.This paper first sorts out the relevant literature at home and abroad,and focuses on the impact of service outsourcing on the number of employment,labor productivity and technological progress.Secondly,it describes the current situation of offshore service outsourcing in China and the current employment situation in china.Thirdly,on this basis,the paper analyzes the effect of undertaking offshore service outsourcing on employment and the specific impact of employment effect.Finally,this paper makes an empirical study on the correlation between them.The empirical results show that the offshore service outsourcing has a role in improving the employment structure in china.Both theoretical and empirical analysis show that,on the whole,undertaking offshore service outsourcing has a certain inhibitory effect on the amount of employment in china.Then,the 5th part of the paper through building econometric model empirically analyzes the impact of offshore service outsourcing on the employment of the three industries in China,and finds that whether it is undertaking offshore service outsourcing or offshore service outsourcing,the employment structure does have an impact on China's employment structure.The conclusions of this paper is:to undertake the expansion of international service outsourcing on the number of China's third industry employment has a positive effect on employment;the number of the first and second industry has inhibitory effect;international service outsourcing has optimal effect on employment structure in china.
