Research On Productivity Improvement Of K Furniture Manufacturing Enterprise Based On Work Study

In recent years,China has gradually become the world's largest producer of furniture,but did not develop into a powerful country of furniture production[1].With the deepening of China's accession to the WTO,the foreign furniture enterprises ceaselessly enter to the Chinese market,which urge our furniture manufacturing enterprises to face increasing competition pressure.In this case,the raw material,time and labor are growing,which put forward higher standards and requirements for the furniture industry,the furniture enterprises have to seek a cost efficient production road.The work study is the most important basic technology in industrial engineering,it can be used to analyze the various factors that affect the efficiency of the work,to help enterprises eliminate the waste of manpower,material resources,financial resources and time,so as to reduce the cost and improve the productivity.Work study is also the main means of productivity research[2].Therefore,this paper chooses the method and technology of work study to seek the way of improving the productivity of furniture manufacturing enterprises in china.This paper starts with the current situation of China's furniture manufacturing industry,summarizes the problems in the development of China's furniture manufacturing industry,and puts forward the idea that the furniture manufacturing industry needs improvement.Then through the analysis of the current situation of research methods,I understand all kinds of skills and summarize related theories and methods of work study,then consider how to use this method to improve productivity of our furniture manufacturing industry.Finally this paper gives specific data and cases of application of the method in the furniture industry to prove its feasibility,this means using this method to optimize the production process of K furniture enterprise,by fishbone diagram method to find the factors that influence productivity from five aspects,so as to determine the decisive factors influencing the production efficiency of the company.Combining with " 5W1H " questioning techniques and " ECRS "principles,applying method study to optimize the process of the enterprise,standard time measured by the stopwatch time study method based on the improved process.Finally,we compare the operation times,transportation distance,working time and production efficiency before and after the improvement,and the application of the work study has greatly improved the productivity of the enterprises.The analysis of this case will help the enterprises to correctly understand the practical value of the work study,arouse the enthusiasm of the application of this method,so that the work study can be more and more widely used in China's furniture manufacturing industry and enhance the competitiveness of China's furniture manufacturing industry.
