Analysis Of The Distribution Of China' S Patent Authorized By Europe And The Relationship With R&D

As we all know,the patent is not only an important achievement of R&D activities,but also an important input of innovation activities,its originality and novelty make it play an extremely important role in economic and social development.Patent applied in the overseas authority is also an important means for a country or a region to participate in international competition.With the national innovation-driven development strategy to gradually promote,the size and level of oversea patents and its degree of relevance with economic and social aspects have also attracted the attention of many scholars.From the current research results,the domestic patent applications,authorizations and industry-intensive research are more,but because of data difficulties,the domestic institutions and individuals in the overseas patent application authorization and related research results are less.In view of this,in this paper,6360 records of China's patent authorized by Europe since the reform and opening up are downloaded one by one and then disposed by year,region,technical field,the characteristics of the applicant and other signs.At the same time,on one hand,we link the technology areas to National Industries Classification(GB/T4754-2011).Based on this,we analysis the layout of China' European patent from four aspect including current situation,areal distribution,technical field distribution and industrial distribution;one the other hand,based on 2007-2015 panel data of 30 Manufacturing industry categories,we used the method of gray relational analysis and panel data model to analysis the relationship between China' European patent and the input of R&D.The study found that China's patent licensing in Europe continues to increase,but because of the small base,the current share of the number of patents granted in Europe is still less,and with the US patent application authorization scale is quite different.In the aspect of the area distribution,the patents are more concentrated in the eastern region,especially that Guangdong's growth rate and accounting for are much larger than other provinces,which reflect that the reform and opening up policy on the implementation of overseas patent strategy makes a decisive role.In the industry distribution,the patents are concentrated in the instrument manufacturing industry,and computer,communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry,butin the special equipment manufacturing,chemical raw materials and chemical products manufacturing,general equipment manufacturing and electrical machinery and equipment manufacturing industry,the number of patents is small,and the European patents industry distribution has a difference with the domestic invention patents,reflecting the differences between the domestic inter regional Competition and international competition in the industrial layout.In terms of the relevance of patent and R&D investment in the industry,the R&D personnel and R&D expenditure of each industry are different from those of patent application authorization,which shows the particularity between the implementation of patent strategy and innovation investment,which should cause the attention of all levels of management.In different categories of industries,the degree of influence is different.In the equipment manufacture industry,we Should strengthen R&D personnel training,attention to the R&D funds input in the raw materials manufacture industry.At the same time,in the equipment manufacturing industry,should pay attention to the efficiency of its R&D investment.
