Objective:Through the construction of comprehensive value model of core patents, the improvement of the core patent identification method is realized. The existing methods of core patent recognition mostly evaluate the value and importance of patents from a single point of view,so their identification of core patents has certain limitations.By systematically considering the attributes and relationship attributes of patents, the comprehensive value of patents theory is proposed, and a comprehensive value model for core patent identification is constructed to realize a comprehensive scientific assessment of the value of patents and the identification of core patents. The comprehensive value model of core patents makes the core patents identification more scientific and effective.Subject and Methods:In this research,we used AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process,AHP)to determine the relevant weights in the integrated value model of core patent identification through expert group decision-making.Then,through the acquisition of patent data in the field of antihypertensive drug technology,a local patent database will be constructed for the statistics of patent indicators in the patent index system and the individual value of antihypertensive drug patents. We used VOSviewer and UCNET to build the patent co-cited network and measure the Nrm Degree and n Betweenness of patent nodes, and calculate the comprehensive value of patents in the field of antihypertensive drug technology. We will use the comprehensive value of patents to identify the core patents for antihypertensive drugs. Results:A core patent identification model was built based on the proposed comprehensive value of patents theory. With the aid of the AHP,the weights of related indicators in the model are determined through expert group decision-making.Then,the comprehensive value model of core patents identification was applied to the field of antihypertensive drugs to realize the identification of core patents in the field, and a total of 223 high-value core patents were identified.According to the interpretation of the top 15 patents of patent comprehensive value, these patented technologies can be mainly distributed in three aspects: first, treat high blood pressure complicated by diabetes, obesity and other diseases;second, used to inhibit the proliferation of vascular smooth muscle cells and control the remodeling of blood vessel walls;third, regulate sodium water retention and treatment of nephrotic syndrome and control blood pressure. These patented technologies not only meet the needs of scientific development and social development, but also coincide with the direction and policy orientation of antihypertensive development and become the core patents in the field of antihypertensive drugs. Finally,we achieved the feasibility and effectiveness evaluation of the model through the application of the core patent identification model.Conclusion:(1)The identification of high-value core patents should proceed from the attributes of the patent itself and the attributes of the patent. To identify the core patents, the value of the patent should be comprehensively considered. The comprehensive value model of core Patents Identification constructed in this study integrates the advantages of patent index system and social network method, and is an improvement of core patent identification methods.(2)Based on the comprehensive value model of core patents identification proposed in this study and combined with the patent data obtained from the corresponding patent literature database in the field of antihypertensive drug technology,we can scientifically and effectively identify core patents in the field of antihypertensive drug technology.
