With the Kunming-Bangkok railway project,Laos city Luang Prabang gradually began to get the attention of Chinese tourists and businessmen,in the process they gradually affect Luang Prabang and its tourism industry.This process can be an important case in the study of tourism anthropology.Therefore,the author useethnographic methodsfor a five-month field surveyin the Luang Prabang.And through three most important aspects of the "tourist gaze":reverse,visual dominance and sociality.In Luang Prabang,"gaze" and "eat" are reflected in the different characteristics,display the tension between"gaze" and "eat".The tension between this "gaze" and"eat"reveal the opposition between"abnormal state" and "normal state".In the tourism power system,is through the production of "abnormal state" and "normal state" to stimulate the consumption of tourists,so that visitors can cycle between the two states to switch between,so as to draw a modern production schema of the tourist destination.
