In recent years,climate warming has become one of the most important environment problems focused by the whole world.So we have to find useful ways to control it and solve it.Not only in the filed of marketing but in the filed of research,Low-carbon is more and more popular.When it comes the tourism industry — —the energy-efficient industry,its' carbon emission has covered 4.9% of the total.With the rapid development of China's tourism industry,tourists' carbon emission in eating,living,transporting,visiting,shopping,entertaining and any other spots of tourism are also rising rapidly.Besides,tourism enterprises and community residents who engage in tourism also produce a non-negligible carbon emissions.So such kinds of typical tourism stakeholders should take part in the carbon offsetting.WuTai mountain scenic spot plays a significant role in the tourism,it is famous,not only because of its' historical and religious culture,but abundant natural and ecological resources.This thesis take Wutai mountain scenic spot as a case study of destination's tourists,residents and tourism enterprises cognition,attitude and motivation toward the tourism carbon offsetting,to find an effective way to come into operation.This is not only for developing the low carbon tourism industry in Shanxi Province and perfecting the policy of environment protection,but also provide an effective basis for other mountain-type scenic areas of ecological management work.Also,be rich in the research filed of people-land relationship,people-people relationship and tourism-environment.First of all,this thesis using the questionnaire method and constructing the structural equation modeling to research the influencing factors of tourists' and residents' behavior of tourism carbon offsetting.For the group of local tourism enterprises,this thesis using the exploratory factor analysis and correlation analysis to research such problem.The results shown that(1)The tightness between tourists' tourism carbon offsetting behavior intention and hidden variables followed by Individual Preference,Degree of Intention Social Interest,Estimation of Utility,Air Environmental Cognition,Degree of Recognition,Tourism Environmental Cognition.(2)The tightness between residents' tourism carbon offsetting behavior intention and hidden variables followed by Estimation of Utility,Social Interest,Degree of Intention,Air Environmental Cognition,Degree of Recognition,Tourism Environmental Cognition,while Individual Preference is not significant variable.(3)The influencingfactor of tourism enterprises' carbon offsetting includes Tourism Environmental Cognition,Climate Environment Cognition,Environmental Disruption Cognition,Estimation of Utility,Degree of Intention,Degree of Recognition,Social Interest and Individual Identification.Apart from that,such hidden variables are little significant correlated with local tourism enterprises' behavior choice.Secondly,according to the net carbon emissions of Wutai mountain scenic spot and the pay willingness of typical stakeholders,the tourism carbon offsetting standard of Wutai mountain is 5.4184 million yuan per year.Based on the tourists,community residents and tourism enterprises' proportion of carbon emissions,for tourists,the maximum standard of carbon offsetting is 1.27 yuan a person,the minimum standard is0.61 yuan;for residence in tourism industry,the maximum average standard is72.03 yuan,the maximum average standard is 154.76 yuan because almost tourism enterprises are build on local residences.On the view of the model selection,this thesis proposes to take the interactive market-government carbon offsetting model,that is,the market as the main operation,the government play a macro-control role of carbon compensation.Last but not least,for better developing and implementing the tourism carbon offsetting,this study also suggesst that(1)enhancing tourists' ecological literacy;(2)playing a leading role of community practitioners;(3)improving the ecological management of tourism destinations or scenic spots;(4)tourism enterprises to develop low-carbon products and low-carbon services,to implement low-carbon business;(5)the government play a bridge role of tourism carbon offsetting.
