Diversity And Specialisation And Economic Growth Of Urban Agglomeration

With the development of the Silk Road Economic Belt strategic,infrastructure and investment environment of China’s northwest region will be gradually improved,and the development of the node city of the Silk Road along the belt and the main urban agglomeration along the Silk Road Economic Belt will act as a strong supporting role of the the prosperity and development of the Silk Road Economic Belt.After studying the existing theories and Literatures In the discovery of the economic research,find that industry specialization and industrial diversification externality is an important path to explain the reason of the economic development of the urban agglomeration.Therefore,it’s meaningful to study on the impact of the industry specialization and diversification externality on the development of the city agglomeration economics of the northwest of China under the background of the Silk Road Economic Zone constructionFirstly,this paper summarizes the domestic and foreign scholars’ research on the influence of industrial agglomeration externalities,industry specialization and diversification externalities on economic growth.Summarize the status and the existing problems of current researches.This paper start the research from the perspective of Urban Agglomeration treat specialization and diversification industry impact on the economic growth of the city agglomeration as the research object,under the macro background of the Silk Road Economic Belt construction.Then by analyzing the action mechanism To provide a theoretical basis for empirical analysis.Then analyzes the present situation of the industrial development of five urban agglomerations by the form of graphs.then using the domestic segment of the Silk Road Economic Belt five city groups 2005-2014 industry data,by drawing lessons from domestic and foreign scholars on the measurement methods of the index of industrial specialization and diversification.The analysis and calculation of characteristics of industrial specialization index of five big city group and the diversity index,and establish the empirical model estimates of industry specialization and diversification of the relationship between the economic growth of the city group finally,under the background of the construction of,using the empirical results based on panel data,provide reference of policy guidance for the city agglomeration of the Silk Road Economic Belt to seize the opportunity to make full use of the existing industrial advantages and foster a good environment for industrial development.
