The Analysis Of China's Manufacturing Industry Participation Problems Under The Global Value Chain

This paper,based on the model of the added value of Koopman about me asuring the trade(KWWP),build the relevant indicators of global value chai n participation:a country of export foreign value-added rate,GVC_participatio n and GVC_position index.And the paper use the the input and output datab ase to measure the manufacturing industry and its divisions in China to reveal the manufacture industry under the global value chain.Then this paper giv e the empirical analysisabout the factors affecting the GVC participation of Chi na's manufacturing industry,finally the relevant conclusions are put forward.First of all,the paper found that the participation of China's manufacturin g industry in the global value chain is gradually deepened,but the GVC status index is low,showing that China's manufacturing industry is still mainly involve d in the middle and lower position of the global value chain.Chinese manufact uring foreign value-added rate has increased year by year,which means that th e degree of its reliance on foreign was deepened;Manufacturing GVC_partici pation has increased,while the GVC_position has not.Then the empirical analysis of China's manufacturing industry in the globa 1 value chain reflects manufacturing industry under the global value chain isinfl uenceed by many factors such as government r&d and foreign industry invest ment.
