The Research On The Ability Of Transformation And Upgrading Of Manufacturing Industry In Central China Based On The Global Value Chain

With the rapid development of China's reform and opening-up,China's economy has achieved remarkable achievements,and the manufacturing industry has penetrated into the global division of labor system.However,the phenomenon of developing countries' “low-end locking” in developed countries in the global production network is increasingly obvious.More researches have been devoted to the analysis of the transformation and upgrading of manufacturing in the global value chain at the national level,while ignoring the regional heterogeneity,and the relevant research on the underdeveloped regions in the central region is not deep enough.The central region bears the dual responsibility of geographical integration and industrial transfer.Promoting the rise of Central China is an important link and an inevitable step for China's sustained economic development.In order to prevent the central region from falling into the "central collapse" phenomenon in which the development level lags behind the east and the development speed lags behind the west,it is particularly important to carry out the analysis of the transformation and upgrading of the central manufacturing industry integrated into the global value chain.Through the combing of existing literature and the reference of relevant economic theories,this paper analyzes the dynamic mechanism and constraint mechanism of manufacturing transformation and upgrading in the central region based on global value chain.The status quo summarizes the development status of the central manufacturing industry in China and the overall pillar manufacturing industry.At the same time,it puts forward the problems faced by the central manufacturing industry and its position in the global value chain.Through the combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research,on the one hand,the cooperative game and non-cooperative game model between manufacturing enterprises integrated into the global value chain prove the existence advantages of enterprises into the global value chain.On the other hand,through the establishment of the evaluation index system of manufacturing transformation and upgrading in the central region integrated into the global value chain,the weighted gray correlation degree after the comprehensive use of the analytic hierarchy process and the grey correlation analysis method is empirically obtained: the central region as a whole since 2006~2016 The province's manufacturing transformation and upgrading capabilities have increased to varying degrees,and the contribution of evaluation indicators in various regions to the transformation and upgrading capabilitiesis significantly different.In general,the two-integration ability,economic creation ability,and scientific and technological innovation ability have played a good role in improving the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry in the central region.This is also in line with the rapid development of the central region in recent years,the mutual promotion of informazation and industrialization,and the local production and research.The actual situation combined is consistent.The resource conservation and environmental protection capabilities have not significantly promoted the transformation and upgrading.This is because the pillar industries in the central region are still traditionally high-energy and high-polluting such as non-ferrous metal processing and rolling.The traditional industries headed by need to be further strengthened.Therefore,it is necessary to speed up the elimination of backward industries,promote the rational development of industrial structure,shut down and switch to high-energy,high-pollution,high-consumption,low-value-added manufacturing enterprises,from factor-driven to innovation.Drive and rationally optimize the energy utilization structure.The manufacturing industry in central China should be adjusted according to the existing industrial structure,and vigorously develop high-tech,high-value-added industries to achieve a rise in the global value chain.Firstly,it is necessary to speed up the development of intelligent manufacturing and realize the middle section of the“smile curve”.Secondly,we must attach importance to the introduction of talents,increase cooperation in production,education and research,improve core competitiveness,and strengthen brand building.Thirdly,a green upgrade is required for the traditional manufacturing industry in the central region.Key production links should focus on technological innovation and rationally optimize the energy utilization structure.Finally,it is necessary to increase policy support and incentives,and implement measures such as tax cuts and government incentives for advanced manufacturing.
