Study On International Banking Business Development Strategy Of WFCB Bank

International finance business is the core of the integration of RMB and foreign currencies banking business,and also a weakness of small & medium-size banks in our country.Full participation of Chinese enterprises in the global market highlights the importance of the bank’s international business.At the same time,with the Interest rate liberalization,financial institutions are being forced to change the traditional profit model which takes RMB debt business as the leading factor of whole business management.International business is faced with the opportunity of development because of its settlement services.This thesis introduces the business scope,the origin and the characteristics of international finance business,and describes the importance of developing banks’ international business for perfecting service means,improving the profit structure and enhancing brand reputation.As a local city commercial bank,WFCB BANK is a representative of small and medium-sized banks,it is significant to analyze the bank’s international business such as the history of development,the current operating status and the existing problems.The article studies the factors affecting the development of international business from two aspects of internal and external,also researches the advantages and disadvantages as well as the opportunities and threats in developing foreign currency business by the method of SWOT analysis.On the basis of these analyses,it gives suggestions on development strategies and implementation measures of international financial business of small and medium-sized Banks such as WFCB BANK,including differentiation strategy,integration of RMB and foreign currencies business,small financial services strategy,business innovation and enhancing efficiency to build the core competitiveness.Through the researches in this article,I hope to provide some help and reference for the development of the international financial business of small and medium-sized commercial Banks such as WFCB BANK.
