Research On The Competitive Strategy Of Z Bank's International Settlement Business

Against the background of the Belt and Road Initiative,international settlement services have played a bigger role in international business.Z Bank has been leading the local international settlement market since it opened this service in 1992.As a sub-branch of a nationwide joint-stock commercial bank,how to play its own advantages in this fierce market,seize the opportunity to meet challenges,and ensure that the international settlement business is developing fast,soundly and stably is the problem that needs immediate attention.This paper takes Z Bank as the research object.It firstly adopts the method of theoretical analysis,and analyzes and summarizes relevant strategic theory,international business theory and related analysis tools.Secondly,the five-force model and the PEST analysis tool are used to analyze the internal and external environment of Z Bank,which provides macro and micro theoretical basis for the choice of Z Bank's development strategy.At the same time,after using the SWOT quantitative decision model and using the SWOT matrix to quantitatively analyze Z Bank's opportunities,challenges,and its own strengths and weaknesses,a type of strategy suitable for the development of the international settlement business of Z Bank was obtained.Finally,according to the type of strategy chosen and the status of its own business development,eight measures have been proposed to ensure the effective implementation of the development strategy,such as perfecting management system to optimize management process and improving the function and business process of the international settlement system.It is hoped that through the study of this thesis,Z Bank will find a suitable road for its own development in the future,continue to make innovations,expand its advantages,and maintain its leading position in the industry.
