Research On The Influencing Factors Of “Go Upstairs” Farmers' Well-being In The Process Of Urbanization

With the boost of urbanization and improvement of urbanization rate,more and more farmers move to buildings and become farmers “going upstairs”.They are facing with great changes such as traditional lifestyles,living habits,dwelling form,interpersonal relationship,social security,and so on.These changes will have an impact on their living conditions and psychology.This paper takes well-being as an index to measure the living conditions and psychological conditions.Through the analysis of the influencing factors of well-being,this paper determines the influence on various factors of well-being and then proposes how to improve the well-being.This paper adopts the method of questionnaire survey to analyse the well-being,and through the analysis of the 285 effective questionnaires from the demonstrative town of Dongli district,it obtains the following conclusions: 1)Different demographic variables have a notable impact on the level of self-evaluation of the well-being of farmers going upstairs.2)Different demographic variables have a notable impact on the influencing factors of the well-being of farmers going upstairs.3)The influencing factors of the well-being have a notable impact on the level of self-evaluation of the well-being.4)The importance ranking of the influencing factors of the well-being of farmers going upstairs to the level of self-evaluation of the well-being is: economic conditions> family background> infrastructure construction> subjective feeling>government policy> interpersonal relationship> social environment> social adjustment.5)The weight ranking of the influencing factors of the well-being of farmers going upstairs is: physical condition> income level> family assets> domestic supporting facility> self-knowledge> price level> social security policy>transportation facility> marital quality> family member relationship> domestic relation> living condition> consuming ability> medical environment> working condition> friend relationship> relocation compensation policy> culture and sport facility> role transition> building willingness> housing distribution policy>educational environment> cultural custom> neighborly relationship> living environment.Finally,this paper analyses the conclusion and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions on improving the well-being of farmers who go upstairs in the fiveaspects,such as increasing the income of farmers,improving the social security system,promoting the living standards of healthcare and education,strengthening the infrastructures construction and carrying forward the spirit of mutual respect and mutual love.It also makes an analysis according to the limitations of this study.
