A Study On The Upgrading Paths Of The Equipment Manufacturing Industries Based On Niche Theory

The equipment manufacturing industry is in a high position in the manufacturing value chain,with technology-intensive,capital-intensive,value-added,and so on.Is it an important manifestation of national comprehensive national strength and core competitiveness,but also the leading force of China's future national economic development.However,China's equipment manufacturing enterprises have the characteristics such as lacking of core competitiveness,relying on the technical capacity of developed countries,in the low-end value chain,low technical capital,Profiting in the value creation process.Therefore,to develop the equipment manufacturing industry vigorously,narrow the gap with the developed countries to achieve equipment manufacturing enterprises to upgrade are the top priority of China.Based on the theory of enterprise niche,this paper takes the experts and scholars who have a further study of niche theory,and the characteristics of equipment manufacturing industry into account.This paper confirms the niche evaluation index system of equipment manufacturing enterprises from the four dimensions of demand,resource,culture and technology niche factor and the quantifiable index.This paper use equipment manufacturing industry listed companies data indicators of stock markets of Shanghai and Shenzhen in 2015,remove the incomplete information of index data?ST and ST * enterprises,and finally selects 950 enterprises as an analysis and evaluation samples.After initial processing of the original data,combined with the mutation theory,this paper use mutation series method to measure the enterprise niche.Finally,this paper put forward the corresponding upgrade path for the different niche characteristics of the enterprise.The study draws the following conclusions: The scale and niche of the equipment manufacturing industry are not balanced.Electrical machinery and equipment industry ranks second,comprehensive niche ranks the fifth,which indicates large scale and low comprehensive niche,large but not strong;transportation equipment industry average integrated niche ranks first,the scale ranks the fifth,which indicates it,s small scale S and high integrated niche ranking.The evaluation of niche can get the development of enterprises in four aspects of demand,resources,culture and technology niche,and the situation of each niche factor is different,which is the basis for different niche enterprises to get the upgrade path The Equipment manufacturers can choose to avoid their own shortcomings or use advantages to improve the shortcomings of the targeted to achieve business upgrades in the full consideration of the internal and external environmental factors.Comprehensive niche and technical niche of equipment manufacturing industry roughly decrease from the eastern,central to western.The niche factor of each enterprise is different,and the comprehensive niche is the result of four factors.The technical niche has the most obvious differences between individuals,and it is the most important factor in the niche of the enterprise.And the technical niche is significantly related to the resource niche.Therefore,the key to enhance the comprehensive niche is to enhance the technical niche and improve the technology niche relying on the resource niche.The integrated ecological niche is backward in northeast,northwest,southwest region,which have the same characteristic of high metal products industry niche.From the specific main business point of view,most companies rely on processing primary products with the low level of added value of industrial chain,which results a serious impact on the level of equipment manufacturing industry.China needs to upgrade the development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
