The competition of enterprises is not only the competition of capital,technology and products or services,but also the competition of human resources.Human resources are already known as an important reason for enterprises to gain competitive advantage,and performance appraisal plays an important role in human resource management.Therefore,many enterprises attach great importance to the performance appraisal of employees.Performance appraisal is a process of evaluating the performance of employees.This evaluation process can be used to form a fair and objective personnel decision-making,and provide feedback channels for employees to make employees clear the performance of their business results,and to develop training and development plans for staffs.It is also a basis for pay adjustment,staff rewards,dismissal,job mobilization and other personnel decision-making.HD Power Company is the holding company of CLP Group.In this paper,we mainly study the performance evaluation system of sector managers in the southwest of HD power company.Combining the working characteristics of the sector manager of the southwest region of the HD power company and the actual situation of the power industry,we will try to optimize the establishment of suitable for the HD power company in the southwest of the sector manager management performance evaluation index system and the development of its standards and weights.We quantify the assessment method which appling to the power company manager performance appraisal workin a more innovative way to make up forthe main lack of quantitative assessment indexs in the previous power industry management personnel performance appraisal.This paper designs a complete set of performance appraisal index system and sets the index standard,weight,the corresponding calculation method and performance appraisal period.According to the actual operation of the southwest of the HD power company reasonable arrangements for the application of performance appraisal results,we put forward the relevant performance appraisal program to implement the safeguard measures.Based on the investigation and analysis of the status quo and problems of the performance appraisal of the sector managers in the southwest of the HD power companies and the development strategy of the enterprises and the performance characteristics of the employees in the management functions,we design and optimize amore scientific performance appraisal system in HD power companies.Therefore,the research results of this paper have certain guiding significance for HD power company and electric power enterprise.
