Research On The Impact Of Regional Innovation Capability On Regional Economy Growth In The Yangtze River Economic Belt

Regional innovation capability has become the core power of regional economic development,and it can promote regional economic growth,regional industrial structure upgrading and regional competitiveness.The influence of regional innovation capability on regional economic growth has been widely concerned by scholars.The Yangtze River Economic Belt is one of the three major national strategic planning economy in China,to effectively expand domestic demand and the adjustment of regional industrial structure,which is of great significance to the stable growth of economy.The country will build the Yangtze River Economic Belt to become the coordinated development of the interaction between the east and the west,along the Yangtze River along the border to promote the comprehensive development of the internal and external opening and ecological civilization construction of the first demonstration zone.However,due to the regional characteristics,there are differences between different regions of the regional innovation capacity and regional economy.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the impact of regional innovation capability on regional economic growth.This paper takes the regional economics and the new economic growth theory as the theoretical basis.Firstly,the paper defines the concept and elements of regional innovation capability,and reviews the literature on regional innovation capability and its impact on regional economic growth.Secondly,this paper analyzes the influence mechanism of regional innovation capability on regional economic growth and the current situation of regional economic growth in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Thirdly,from the environment,input,output and performance of the four aspects are constructed regional innovation environment level,regional innovation input ability level,regional innovation output ability and regional innovation performance level of the four dimensions of evaluation system of regional innovation capability in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.Then,using factor analysis method to calculate theregional innovation ability of 11 provinces and cities in the Yangtze River economic belt from 2007 to 2015.Finally,the integrated score is taken as an index to the Cobb Douglas production function as an empirical test.Through the above theoretical analysis,situation analysis and empirical test,it can be concluded that there is a big difference in the regional innovation capacity of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.In 2015,the regional innovation ability of Jiangsu,Shanghai and Zhejiang ranked the top three,but Jiangxi,Yunnan and Guizhou ranked behind.The regional innovation capacity of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,downstream,midstream and upstream has obvious effect on promoting the regional economic growth,but there is a big difference between the degree of impact on economic growth,the influence of the high degree of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and downstream,followed by upstream,the weakest of midstream.Conclusion combined with the status quo and the Yangtze River Economic Belt regional innovation capability,this paper puts forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions for the improvement of the regional innovation ability of the Yangtze River Economic Belt,downstream,midstream and upstream,in order to fully play the role of promoting the regional innovation capacity of regional economic growth.
