Antecedent Of Leader Integrity

In recent years,frequent exposures of such events as high-level scandal and back box operation,for example,“Song Lin Case” in china,“Tyco Case” at abroad,which have raised great concern about leader integrity in academic world.More and more domestic scholars have joined the research queue about this theme.Even so,most of these researches are still confined to the concept connotation and mechanism of action of leader integrity,the research of antecedents of which is still at the stage of development.Based on theoretical basis,this thesis will build a research model,as well as verify it by an empirical research,so as to explore mechanism of action of personality and social learning on leader integrity.Specifically,this research consists of two sub studies: the first one will adopt the method of mach between leaders and employees to collect data,use analysis of regression to verify if dark triad has a significant effect on leader integrity,to inspect whether moral disengagement has a mediating effect between dark triad and leader integrity,to examine whether power distance has a regulating effect between dark triad and leader integrity;the second one also take the method as the first one to collect data,it will use analysis of regression to verify whether senior managers' leader integrity has a significant influence of on that of middle managers;to examine whether middle managers' leader integrity has a mediating effect on between senior managers' leader integrity and perception of politics of grass-roots employees.This thesis uses AMOS20.0 and SPSS17.0 to have an analysis of validity,reliability analysis,correlation analysis,analysis of regression to verify research model.The research conclusions include the following parts:(1)The first research implies that,dark triad has a negative influence on leader integrity.Moral disengagement has a completely mediating effect on dark triad and leader integrity;power distance mediates the relationship between dark triad and moral disengagement;(2)The second research shows that leader integrity of senior managers has a positive impact on middle managers' leader integrity;senior and middle managers' leader integrity have a negative impact on grass—roots employees' perception of organizational politics;middle managers' leader integrity has a completely mediating impact on the perception of organizational politics between senior managers and grass-roots employees.Based on conclusion of this research,this thesis put forward the such advices and countermeasures as build a violated early warning mechanism of leader integrity,reinforce train of leader s' integrity,construct a communication platform for leaders and employees,etc,so as to improve leader integrity.
