The Effect Of Intellectual Property Protection On China And South Korea's High-tech Trade

Judging from the present international society situation,there is a very prominent issue is intellectual property protection,especially,the high-tech trade,which is associated with the intellectual property rights by an extremely high degree,is increasingly more important.Intellectual property system for stimulating innovation formed the most basic protection role,it will have a pivotal role to play in the high-tech industries to economic growth.In reality,the global economic center of gravity has shifted from goods trade to high-tech trade,high-tech trade also support the continued rapid growth of national economies.China and South Korea formed a good basis for cooperation in the twenty years of the process of interaction,highly complementary economic situation,and China and South Korea signed a free trade agreement and hopes that this historical interaction can become an engine to promote China-ROK economic development.At present,China has become South Korea's largest trading partner,export market and the biggest source of imports,Korea has become one of China's most important trade and investment partners.China and South Korea but also made unremitting efforts to enhance intellectual property rights protection and the development of high-tech trade.More and more high-tech trade scholars showed great interest in the property protection;and appropriate intellectual property protection for innovation and technology development of the whole country's trade have a pivotal role.But for comparison of high-tech trade between China and South Korea as well as the role of intellectual property rights and other aspects,this research is still in its infancy,most of the studies were limited to trade for its own technical research programs and promote the protection of intellectual property.In this paper,the legal status of China and South Korea to protect intellectual property categories were analyzed in detail,by understanding the meaning of intellectual property rights,as well as the theoretical basis of the content and manner of high-tech trade,with a series of data and graphical analysis of the current situation of high-tech trade between China and ROK,as well as the differences between the two countries were compared,and played an empirical analysis on high-tech trade and intellectual property rights between China and South Korea,to draw conclusions and put forward some corresponding policy recommendations in order to better and more healthy development of China-ROK high-tech trade.
