Over the past few decades,China's economic development has made remarkable achievements,the size and effectiveness of Sinopec rapidly grew and the international status gradually improved.In 2015,Sinopec even became the second of the world's top 500 fortune.However,although Sinopec's hard power has reached or close to the international level,there is still a gap in brand influence between Sinopec and world-class enterprises.As the “main force” to participate in the international competition,Sinopec should become the vanguard in the construction of independent brands.Shaping and effective dissemination of Sinopec's good brand image is an important part for Sinopec to build a world-class enterprise.In this context,it is of practical significance to carry out the preliminary exploration of Sinopec's brand image.In this paper,on the basis of learning from the successful experience of international energy companies,I summarize Sinopec's efforts in the brand image promotion in recent years,diagnose problems still existing of Sinopec's brand image and put forward suggestions for improvement from the aspects of brand positioning,strengthen overseas brand communication,and so on.The ultimate goal is to increase awareness of Sinopec's brand and enhance the company's brand assets.
