Research On The Housing Problem Of Suzhou Alien Rural Migrant Workers Based On The Background Of New Pattern Urbanization

The way of new pattern urbanization has been put out definitely by the 18 th CPC National Congress,and the core of new pattern urbanization is “the urbanization of people”.This article analyzes the citizenization of rural migrant workers based on the theory of “the urbanization of people”.Being the main force of pushing the development of city and raising the rate of urbanization,the rural migrant workers play an indispensable role in the running of a city.And the housing problem is always a serious issue which is related to their survival and development.The housing problem decides directly whether they can blend themselves into the city and enjoy the guarantee of city.As a big city with lots of migrant people,Suzhou has paid long attention to the housing problem of rural migrant workers,and introduces a series of countermeasures.So it is meaningful to study the rural migrant workers’ housing problems of Suzhou.On the background of new pattern urbanization and based on the summarization of rural migrant workers’ housing experience of at home and abroad,we analyze the basic condition and living problems of alien rural migrant workers,and put forward relevant solutions in space and policies.Firstly,we define the concept of new pattern urbanization,rural migrant and their housing,and then we tease the researches on migrant workers’ housing of at home and aboard from the point of space and policy.The space research emphasizes the rural migrant workers’ concentrated area including village in city,rural-urban continuum and workers’ dormitory.Then we explain the housing guarantee policy systems of at home and aboard,as well as summarize the successful experience when solving the rural migrant workers’ housing problem.Secondly,we summarize the alien rural migrant workers’ housing condition,characteristic and problem by doing a research on Suzhou.We finding that the alien rural migrant workers always live concentratedly in the following place: the village in city,the rural-urban continuum and the workers’ dormitory,so we introduce these three concentrated areas in detail.The we analyze the train of thought and direction of solving the problems.We think it important to take rural migrant workers’ needs in finance,space and mentality and the general require of new pattern urbanization into consideration.Finally,we put forward our suggestions from the point of space and policy.On one hand,we give advice on solving the problems of village in city,rural-urban continuum the workers’ dormitory,and we analyze the example of Jiangzhuang village and Fengjiang dormitories.on the other hand,we point out some policies solutions such as completing the housing guarantee system,enacting laws and regulations and attracting rural migrant workers to return to their hometown.Generally speaking,we use an entry point that matters the problems of current situation,and take Suzhou as an example to give our solutions from the points of micro space and macro policy to solve the alien rural migrant workers’ housing problems thoroughly and multilevelly.
