The Influence Of Corporate Social Responsibility And Corporate Social Capital On The Corporate Sustainable Development

Since the reform and opening to the outside world,China’s economy has developed rapidly,but a series of social problems have also come into being.Many enterprises only to maximize the pursuit of profit that make a lot of social issues,these social issues letcorporate social responsibility become the focus in China.Corporate social responsibility refers to the responsibility of the enterprise for the stakeholders.In the research field of corporate social responsibility,the scholars have made active discussions on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and short-term performance of enterprises,but have little research on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and long-term development of enterprises.Corporate social capital refers to the relationship between the enterprise and the stakeholders who in the relationship network and the ability to obtain resources by the link.It provides the necessary information and resources for enterprises,so has an important impact on enterprise development.Therefore,the corporate social capital and corporate social responsibility have same cross and integrate department in theoretical basis and value objectives.So this paper generalized the development path of the relevant theory,described the internal mechanism of corporate social responsibility,social capital and corporatesustainable development,and put forward the relevant theoretical assumptions.This paper made the mechanical manufacturing industry as the research sample,based on the dual perspective of corporate social responsibility and corporate social capital,to build a regression model.On the one hand,it proposed corporate social responsibility has an important impact for corporate sustainable development,while,affirmed the positive role of corporate social capital to corporate sustainable development.On the other hand,the paper analyzes the comprehensive impact of corporate social responsibility and corporate social capital on the corporate sustainable development.The results show that:(1)Corporate social responsibility has a positive impact on the corporate sustainable development.Among them,the responsibilities of enterprises to shareholders,creditors,employees,customers and suppliers have a significant impact on the corporate sustainable development,but the responsibilities of enterprises to the government and public welfare have not significant impact.(2)Corporate social capital has a significant impact on corporate sustainable development.Among them,lateral dimension and trust dimension have significant influence on corporate sustainable development,but the influence of longitudinal dimension is not significant.(3)Corporate social capital has a positive role in the relationship between corporate social responsibility and corporate sustainable development.The lateral dimension and trust dimension have significantregulatory effect,but the longitudinal dimension has no significant effect.(4)Corporate social responsibility has a positive role in the relationship between social capital and corporate sustainable development.The responsibilities of the shareholders,creditors,employees,suppliers have a significant role in regulating the relationship,but the responsibility of the enterprise,government,public welfare did not significantly regulate the relationship.
