Research On The Factors Affecting The Slow Growth Of Russia's Economy

In the situation of global economic downturn,European debt crisis,falling global oil prices,and Western sanctions brought a serious blow to Russian economy.The economy of Russia also has inherent issues which hindered the process of its economic recovery.In the coming period of time,if Russia can't find new economic growth points and effective investments,then the economy of Russia will be facing with stagnation or recession.So the urgent task of Russian government is to accurately determine the economic situation,and make effective policies to solve the financial problems.Firstly,this paper introduces some concepts such as economic prosperity,economic crisis,economic downturn and some related theories as well as summarizes the main performance of the economy development of Russian economy.Secondly,analysis the factors that cause Russian economic downturn.Some people mentioned that the economic downturn because of Western sanctions and falling global oil prices,but these are the external factors.The deeper and more important internal factor is the weakness of Russian economy which is the main reason.Thirdly,set up a model in order to analyses the impact of oil prices shocks and domestic inflation affecting the Russian economy.Finally,gives some countermeasures in order to solve the financial problems.
