With the increasingly fierce competition in the manufacturing market,enterprises to develop new products,the cycle requirements are increasingly short,originally by the functional departments spontaneously with the new product development model has been unable to meet the market demand for the development cycle,the introduction of project management mechanism management of new product development is already an inevitable choice.However,X company as a large state-owned enterprise,functional management model has been ingrained.The project management in the practical application there are still many deficiencies,one of the most prominent is the project progress management issues.Z new product development project pre-schedule management there are many problems,the progress of the management program optimization is the key to the success of the project.This paper first introduces the research purpose and significance of this paper,the background of the industry and enterprise,the background of the new product development project,and introduces the relevant literatures according to the combination of theory and practice,and introduces several important aspects of project progress management tools: WBS decomposition,Gantt chart,critical path method,progress compression technology and earned value analysis,respectively,to study their origin,development and use of points and so on.Then,the paper introduces the current situation of progress management in Z new product development project,analyzes the problems existing in the project schedule management and the reasons of the progress delay from the reasons of people,the reasons of the system and the reasons of the preliminary work of the project.Next,the paper uses the project schedule management tool to optimize the project schedule,re-project activities to break down,arrange the order of activities,estimate the activity time,and calculate the project key path.After analysis,the progress of the project has been postponed,so the use of progress compression tools to the project schedule to be compressed.In the project schedule control,the paper uses the Earned Value Analysis method,combined with the project plan developed in the previous paper,establishes the project cost model based on the human resource cost calculation,and calculates the cost and the progress of the new product development project by earnest value analysis linked to the project by regularly analyzing the project schedule deviation and cost deviation to ensure that the project schedule and cost control within a certain range of deviation,reducing the risk of the project.The paper also puts forward the safeguard measures for the implementation of the optimization scheme.Finally,the paper evaluates the expected effect of the optimization scheme and draws the conclusion.This paper is based on the optimization of the progress management plan of Z new product development project,which is expected to improve the progress management of the project.The progress and cost of the project are in the controllable range,which reduces the project risk and improves the project success rate.At the same time,the results of this paper on the X company similar to other new product development project progress management also has reference.
