| The level of economic development is obvious in China’s eastern and western regions;Therefore,in 2000,China proposed the western development policy,without affecting the economic development of the eastern region on the basis of promoting the western region’s economic development,narrowing the difference between the two,but the effect is not obvious.Based on the theory of industrial agglomeration,this paper analyzes the present situation of manufacturing industry and its agglomeration,and starts from the cluster of manufacturing industry to explore the strategies to promote the economic development and narrow the regional differences in the western region.Secondly,using Eviews to analyze the correlation between manufacturing agglomeration degree and economic growth,it is found that the higher the concentration of industrial agglomeration in manufacturing industry is,the higher the economic growth is that the western region’s economic growth is slow due to the western region’s manufacturing industry High degree of aggregation.Thirdly,the factors influencing the industrial agglomeration are analyzed,and the influence degree of these factors on the industrial agglomeration of the manufacturing industry is calculated by using the gray correlation degree.The factors that affect the degree of industrial agglomeration are: the market demand,the industry labor intensity,Foreign direct investment,infrastructure,human capital.Finally,it is proposed to promote industrial agglomeration in the western region.Finally,the policy recommendations to promote the concentration of manufacturing in the western region are proposed. |
