The problem of assembly line balancing is an important component in the manufacturing enterprise production management and it is one of the most important pasts of local process arrangement and optimization.The problem is to achieve equilibrium stability of the production system by assigning a series of operating elements on the assembly line to each workstation or workstation reasonably under certain constraints.Low assembly line balance rate will led to waste of working time,poor efficiency and even production break.As a complex problem,no efficient algorithm can be used to solve it now.The paper summarize and analyses the domestic and overseas method of study assemble line balance issue in these years,as for some constraints for LCD TV assembly lines,the author put forward an improved PSO algorithm to solve assembly line balancing problem.The method applied to actual assembly line and achieved good results.Firstly,this paper introduces the basic description of assembly line balancing problem,and analyzes and summarizes the different methods of assembly line balancing problem.On this basis,the paper analyses the situation of LCD TV assembly line of Q Company and improve the assembly line by using the methods of traditional industrial engineering.For thinking about the numbers of work elements and the work element coordination degree,the author establish a mathematical model with the highest balancing rate and lowest line smoothness index.An improved particle swarm optimization algorithm is proposed and compared with the standard PSO.Finally,the result of assembly line balancing optimization through improved PSO algorithm will be evaluated.The paper use the improved particle swarm optimization algorithm to improve the balance of assembly line.The result indicate the study improve the balancing rate,reduce the smoothness index of the assembly line and optimize the al ocation of resources for enterprises,improve enterprise efficiency.
