Today, competition of automotive industry is keen increasingly and profit margin is lower day by day. How to reduce cost and increase productivity, what has been to the very important issue faced by every enterprise. If can combinate assembly lines using scientific methods, flexility of assembly line could be increased, and also equipment cost and workshop investment would be saved. In particular, the high cost assembly line would be better. And that, balancing assembly line can increase productivity, which also save production cost.According this target, thesis studies the common methods of assembly line balancing and layout, analyses balancing and simulates combination of assembly line A and B in company G, and also draws the layout based on process requirement and balancing result. Thesis uses method of heuristic to simplify balancing, brings forward dynamic balancing, simulates using software of Plant Simulation, and evaluates the result with efficiency and smoothness index.The thesis studies the feasibility of combination and flexility change for console assemble line, concludes the common methods. It prepares the theory for assembly line change and has actual signification to cost saving for enterprise.
