The Analysis On The Influence Of Urbanization On Urban-Rural Income Gap In Jiangxi Province

Jiangxi Province has developed rapidly after the opening up,the process of urbanization has been accelerating,the scale of cities has been expanding,the income level of urban and rural residents has been greatly improved.However,there are still some problems behind the urbanization process and the growth of urban and rural residents.The main manifestations are: In the aspect of urbanization,the urbanization level of Jiangxi Province lags behind the national average level,lagging behind the level of economic development,and the urbanization level gap relatively large,urban agglomeration and radiation capacity is not strong;in the aspect of income in urban and rural areas,rural residents income growth rate behind urban residents,urban and rural income gap at a large level.It is particularly important to further speed up urbanization,effectively raise the income level of rural residents,narrow the urban-rural income gap and realize the urban and rural development.By studying the relationship between the urbanization of Jiangxi Province and the income gap between urban and rural residents,it can not only enrich the existing research results,but also provide reference for the coordinated development of urban and rural areas in Jiangxi Province and even the central region.Based on the research results of domestic and foreign scholars,this paper analyzes the relationship between urbanization and urban-rural income gap based on the theory of dual economic structure,population flow theory and Kuznets theory.After in-depth analysis of the current situation in Jiangxi urbanization and urban-rural income gap and problems,and with econometric methods empirically test the relationship between urbanization and urban-rural income gap.Based on the analysis of Jiangxi province's current situation,existing problems and empirical results,this paper concludes that urbanization level,dual economic structure and government behavior are important factors influencing the income gap between urban and rural areas in Jiangxi Province,there is a positive correlation between urbanization and income gap in Jiangxi Province,which the urbanization process in Jiangxi Province has had a widening effect on the urban-rural income gap.Finally,based on the theoretical analysis and empirical analysis,according to the actual situation of Jiangxi Province,four suggestions are put forward to speed up the urbanization and narrow the urban and rural income gap.First,the scientific development concept to guide urban construction;second is scientific planning to create a city group with Jiangxi characteristics;the third is developing characteristic agriculture and modern agriculture;fourth,increase government investment in rural areas;fifth,gradually eliminate the urban and rural dual structure,to achieve urban and rural integration.
